Thanks for the comment. I&#039;m just looking at local::lib, after discussing this article with a few folks on #catalyst. I&#039;ve had some problems with getting it to bootstrap as an ordinary user though. The author is currently looking into that for me.

I must confess, it&#039;s been a while since I just tried &#039;cpan Catalyst&#039; - does it really run smoothly on Solaris? I must try it!
