O2 customer support – the worst out there?
by Mark on Jan.02, 2010, under rant
I would never normally use this blog as a place to rant, but I’ve about had enough of O2’s shit customer service. It would appear dancing around the issue and call dumping is common practice. Is it actually possible to get a straight answer out of these people, or to have a call maintained for the full duration without a transfer resulting in the call being cut off?
Can’t wait for my iPhone to be out of contract. I’m off.

I’m going to comment on my own post – I found some customer support that’s far, far, FAR worse than O2. T-Mobile.
They locked my account after an internal credit error (essentially taking 10 quid off my account) then had the audacity to blame my bank, telling me they’d taken the money back. Which they hadn’t. After a week of my account being locked they put the 10 quid back, admitting it was an internal error. Then took a further 10 days to restore the account – it took a rant at the Indian call centre to make them put me onto a UK based operative, who fixed the whole thing in 2 minutes.
Outsourcing – stupid idea.
